Ric Ocasek est un chanteur, musicien et réalisateur américain né le à Baltimore, dans le Maryland. De son vrai nom Richard Otcasek, il fut le chanteur du groupe new wave The Cars de 1976 à 1988.
Il a par la suite enregistré des albums solos, avant de produire les albums de groupes tels Weezer, Suicide, Bad Brains, Bad Religion, Nada Surf ou The Killers.
Ric Ocasek (born Richard T. Otcasek; March 23, 1949) is an American songwriter, musician and record producer. He is best known as the vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter for the rock band, the Cars. Ocasek has been married to model Paulina Porizkova since 1989.
